As of now, the detailed survey
report has become available for the BMR-STRR, which is indicated in a map
form in Annexure- 2 and in terms of village wise and survey number wise
details in Annexure- 3. Salient features of the proposed BMR-STRR are
indicated in Annexure-1. The survey work for the other roads, namely, the
Intermediate Ring Road (BMR-IRR), the Individual Town Ring Roads (ITRR) and
the various Radial Roads, is in progress. It is also necessary to prescribe
a width of 10 metres as building line for the entire alignment of these
roads.
Accordingly, the following
directions are issued in terms of the sections 9 and 10 of the BMRDA Act,
1985.

The development of the BMR-
Satellite Town Ring Road (BMR-STRR), the Intermediate Ring Road (BMR-IRR),
the Individual Town Ring Roads (ITRR) and the various Radial Roads is
declared as a Scheme under section 9 of the BMRDA Act, 1985. A copy of the
Scheme is placed at Annexure-1.

The alignment for the
BMR-STRR shall be indicated in a map form in Annexure- 2 and in terms of
village wise and survey number wise details in Annexure- 3 to this
Notification. This would, however, be subject to minor changes as could
come up during the development/ construction of the respective roads.

Notwithstanding anything
contained in any law for the time being in force, except with the previous
permission of the BMRDA, no authority or person shall undertake or permit
any development within the alignments for the BMR-STRR.

For the purposes of this
Notification, “Development” with its grammatical variations would mean the
carrying out of building, engineering, or other operations in or over or
under the land or making of any material change in any building or land,
or in the use of any building or land and includes redevelopment and
forming of layouts and subdivision of any land including amenities.
Further, no authority or person
shall undertake or permit any construction in a width of 10 metres building
line for the entire alignments of these roads.
